Nella giornata dell'open day dell'Accademia di Costume e di Moda di Roma, tenutosi ieri, ho partecipato ad un laboratorio molto interessante. L'ambito era quello degli accessori e il tema era "Realizza la tua shopper". Luigi Mulas ci ha spiegato in modo molto semplice ed efficace le regole principali da tener presente nel realizzare una shopper. E poi ci ha messo a lavorare la stoffa, chiedendoci di considerare delle figure geometriche semplici e da lì creare una shopper (che poi avrebbe cucito lui).
Io, complicandomi la vita, ho scelto un pentagono: ho rinunciato ai manici creandone uno direttamente con la stoffa. Non è uscito fuori un lavoro eccellente, ma sono soddisfatto per le mille informazioni che Mulas mi ha dato, aprendomi la mente su tanti aspetti della progettazione, che forse potrà servirmi anche nel mio ambito lavorativo.
During the open day of the Academy of Costume and Fashion in Rome, held yesterday, I took part in a workshop very interesting. The context was the accessories and the theme was "Make your own bag." Luigi Mulas explained, very simply and effectively, the main rules to remember to create a shopper. And then, he started working on the fabric, asked us to consider the simple geometrical figures and create a shopper from there (sewed by him).
I chose a pentagon: I gave up creating a handle directly with the fabric. I have not made a good job, but I'm happy for many informations Mulas gave me, opening mind to many aspects of design, which perhaps will help me in my workplace.
