The irony and sarcasm are two components that art and fashion have allowed, in my opinion, to save them. If it is true is recognized the cultural importance of the artistic fields, but it is easy to fall into the trap of taking them too seriously, only to remain in a golden castle. The irony in this sense restores a balance, trying to “play down” this excessiveness.
From a few years has spread more and more the “trend” of irony on the biggest fashion brands. The oversized sweatshirt by Sunday21 that I decided to wear in this outfit does just that, playing with the initials of Yves Saint Laurent on a base of natural pattern. Given a strong impact, also with the detail of the trasparent sleeve, I decided to match it with the innovative Rigin pants, without side seams, and sneakers by Adidas x Jeremy Scott.
