The fashion photographer Kristiina Wilson has created for Fizzy Magazine the editorial entitled “Take Me 2 The Other Side”, styled by Michelle Carimpong and grooming of Jessi Butterfield.
The shooting, set on the streets of New York City, show (as the title says) the other part of this immense metropolis: New York is in fact known for its business activities, but also has a vivid underground-street subculture, that is influencing the fashion world.
Not surprisingly, in my opinion, has been chosen the “white” model Nicola on which, by contrast, has been applied the “dreads” hair, typical of African Americans, which refers to the characteristic “barber shop” of the city. The clothes, totally streetwear, are taken from mainstream brands such as Asos, Topman and Levis, but also by special collections such as Adidas by Marc McNairy, Shades of Grey by Micah Cohen and Ben Copperwheat.
