One of the first projects exhibited at Pitti this year that I’d like to introduce to you is not properly a brand. It is in fact a start-up tech all-Italian, dedicated to the world of shoes. AliveShoes allows, in fact, to design and sell their own shoes, directly from the web and with a few clicks.
The team is led by Luca Botticelli, a specialist with more than ten years of experience in the footwear industry, Michele Torresi, who worked in the footwear and web design for over twelve years, and Marco Ferroni, an engineer with more than 8 years in IT experience. The production system is instead located in what is now the “Shoes Valley” (Marche, Italy), the seat of footwear tradition since 1901. The stand was located in the New Beats, dedicated to the high rate of international names, and there were three of the designers of their online community (Foteini , Luisa and Natacha ), from various parts of Europe, which showed through their projects, the operation of the start-up.
The system of creation of the shoes is very intuitive: it is possible, first of all, to choose the type of shoes, from there you can customization the upper, the sole and all the details, both in color and in different materials. Besides that, you can customize the external label, inserting the logo of your brand or simply your name, and the internal label with an image which will then be replaced also on the box of the shoes. Finally, you will be able to launch your own e-commerce deciding the price of shoes (from a minimum).
