At the beginning of the 20th century, when artists tried to find new meaning to their existence and their means of expression, were born the famous Avant-garde movements. Despite several differences, what the Avant-garde sought was the destruction of the form, starting from the ideal boundary of the white canvas. They wanted to bring art outside of its institutional limits, dilating it in “practical” life.
After 100 years, we are all realizing this ambitious aesthetic project through the use of common objects customized with portraits, drawings and artistic works.
