This year, the 21st edition of the Rome Marathon was held. And after the success in 2014, also this year New Balance created special edition shoes dedicated to the event. This is the brand new model 1980 Zante Rome Marathon, shoes designed for runners that are looking for optimal cushioning and customized specifically for the famous competition.
New Balance 1980 Zante Rome Marathon
The New Balance 1980 Zante is a soft shoe, but at the same time natural and faster. Thanks to Fresh Foam technology it offers a perfect control of the thrust of the foot, with comfort and impeccable design. Stylistically, the dominant colors are red, symbol of the company’s Boston, and the gray, which is inspired by the armor of the Roman legionaries.
To create an outfit in the name of “softness” and comfort, I decided to combine the shoes with a pair of a five pocket stretch denim by Rigin, a red t-shirt with a huge ice cream print by the brand Ice Cream – the line clothing founded by Pharrell Williams – and a checked cardigan in black and white with different pattern and lengths by D.GNAK.
A colorful outfit to celebrate the freedom to move typical of the Marathon, but also of the spring just arrived.
