What you wear on your wrist is not sensitive to seasonal changes such as clothing. But this doesn’t mean that men’s watches should not move with the times! Trends in the watchmaking world – even if they changes at a pace that is glacial compared to fashion – is a reality.
For example, remember when the wacthes were very big with overstaffed straps? Well, this trend died. Today waches tend to not exceed 43mm, containing the cash in a classic dial with a simple leather strap. This is demonstrated by Christian Paul watches made by its founder Timothy Vincent Caruana to create not only watches of timeless design, but that meet different people and lifestyles making it very versatile and unisex.
The model I decided to wear in this post is Elwood Marble. Drawing inspiration from both traditional and contemporary design, this unique and elegant watch has been created with versatility and a kind of sophisticated simplicity in mind. Combined with a formal suit (as in these photos) definitely gives a special touch. This piece can be used from day to night with ease and class. Its features include the silver case, a quality Black Italian leather strap, controls in silver and the exclusive white marble face in enamel (hence the name of the collection, Marble).
In a world where a watch is a luxury rather than a functional object, it is worth keeping in mind all the features that can turn it into something extraordinary.
