With the summer and the newfound freedom come forward a whole series of potential style blunders, especially in wearing shorts. To improve the chances of success uncovering the legs, the combinations can be many such as t-shirt and bomber.
Shorts + T-shirt + Bomber
It’s strange to imagine in this era of “athleisure” (athletic luxure clothing) that only a few years ago the thought of wearing shorts were stylistically awkward. We associated it to a sartorial style with bow tie, brogues and big mustache. But times change and today the shorts can wear and keep intact our credentials .
The key is to think in a minimal way. To opt for a pair of shorts not very showy in a versatile color. And keep the rest of the outfit simple, aiming for a bomber and a t-shirt in neutral colors. And finally play on some details below – like socks – that can add a touch of style to this casual look.
Outfit with the tshirt Eightynine Lies
Inspired by these suggestions, I created an outfit pointing on the tshirt by Eightynine Lies. A product “proudly made in the wild South Italy” borned from two friends, Enrico Giordano and Palmiero Nocera. A street fashion clothing brand that creates clothes of high craftsmanship with a unique design but also a really fun packaging: the t-shirts are delivered (literally) inside a pizza box!
Along with the t-shirt complete the look of a beige Pull & Bear shorts, a perforated texture bomber by Hosio and the sneakers by Adidas designed by Jeremy Scott, along with the American Apparel socks.
I was wearing:
Tshirt: #89Lies – Proudly Made in the Wild South Italy
Shorts: PULL&BEAR
Bomber jacket: HOSIO
Socks: AMERICAN APPAREL
Shoes: ADIDAS x JEREMY SCOTT
