Have a stubble is no longer considered tacky, but this depends largely on how you keep it. One of the best ways to keep a stubble under control is to model facial hair to give a cleaner look. And this is even more important if you have a very dark beard that grows from the cheekbone to the edge of the collar.
Shaping means having a clean shave in areas where the beard doesn’t grow regular, as the upper part of the cheeks and the lower part of the neck, eliminating all unwanted hair and giving a line at the edges of the stubble.
Groomarang comb
Being able to model a beard by yourself is often very complicated and it’s easy to have a badly cutted beard. A perfect solution is Groomarang, a particular comb that can be used with the razor to precisely define the shape of the beard.
Its innovative design boomerang shaped allows two combs with two different sizes of teeth, a brush to clean up and an inner curve to be used as a “track” for finishing the cheeks and neck.
How to use Groomarang
Use the inside curve of the Groomarang to shape the neck line. Simply place the curve where you wish your neck line to stop and use a trimmer to mark a line out. Now shave the hair away from the line you marked out. If using a razor instead of clippers, place the Groomarang™ against your beard so the longer teeth of the comb lean against the bottom of your jawline. Shave downwards from where the Groomarang sits, and repeat at both sides of the neck. This will leave a V shape, which can be shaved off to leave the perfect curved shaped neck line.
Place the Groomarang at against the faceis a ‘J’ position, but where the long side of the ‘J’ is horizontal and the short side is vertical. Slide the Groomarang either up or down to the position where the outer edge of the ‘J’ shape would represent the edge of where you want your cheek’s beard line to be. once you have your perfect position shave over and away from the curved edge of the Groomarang. once this is done, your beard will be lined up exactly to the curve of where you placed the Groomarang. Repeat this step on the other side of the cheek.
Place the Groomarang in a gun shape position, so the head of the gun will be facing your lower ear. Line the Groomarang so the bottom edge is in line with your jaw line. Tilt your head slightly to the opposite side of where the Groomarang™ is placed, and shave over and away from the Groomarang™, taking away all your neck hairs. Repeat this both sides, to leave you with a perfectly jaw lined beard.
Place the thin edge of the Groomarang™ at the point where you wish your goatee to nish. either use clippers or a razor to shave away from the edge. Repeat this at both sides of the beard to leave you with a fantastic looking goatee.
