There have been many iconic couples throughout history – Batman and Robin, Lennon and McCartney. And there are so many perfect couples that could already reside in your wardrobe without your knowing it.
In fact, more than the sum of their parts, the sartorial twin souls are able to unite worlds that could seem contradictory. Have you ever wanted, for example, to dress elegant and casual at the same time? It seems impossible and yet today a more casual and contemporary formal apparel exists thanks to one of the most improbable pairs of clothing: a blazer and a t-shirt.
Why wear a blazer
Compared to jackets (of suits) blazers have a less severe form. Being without upholstery, internal workings and coverings, they follow the natural line of the body, which means that they are not excessively tapered on the sides, giving a much softer fit.
Eccentric for their particular details, such as patch pockets or cuffs and visible seams, blazers are often made of an unusual material for jackets such as lightweight wools. This allows it to have extra strength and an always distinctive and original look.
How to combine a blazer with an Owl t-shirt
Perfect for layering in cold times or in spring with jeans, the blazer takes up the traditional style and distorts it. Its relaxed silhouette goes effortlessly with a crew-neck t-shirt in a complementary or contrasting color to the blazer, creating a smart and modern outfit.
Of course, do not be fooled by solid color t-shirts: the blazer allows you to dare a little more. In this outfit for example I wear a Banggood owl t-shirt: the owl has a really fascinating symbology. For many years confused with another rapacious bearer of misfortune, the owl is a symbol of wisdom and reason, depositary of ancient wisdom.
