One thing that winter has taught me, despite the increasingly variable temperatures, is that the cold finally comes! And every year I learn new ways to keep warm, especially at home, trying not to waste too much energy. Not just for the money on the bill, but because a little ‘good on this planet of ours I would like to make it.
So I learned to cover myself, to use slippers (those with hair are my best friends!), But I especially began to nurture a particular interest (read also mania) for blankets.
Looking for the perfect blanket
I know, the image of a blanket is immediately old: layers of quilts that hide you or strange intertwined dozens of bright colors to put on your knees. Something that in short does not make me absolutely want to invite friends home, despite the cold.
That’s why I started looking for something different, a thick and cozy blanket, preferably made of wool, but not too serious and old-style. And so I discovered the magical world of oversize handmade blankets. And more precisely the Super Chunky Knit Blanket, a real madness.
