November is one of those maddening months when it comes to choosing the right clothes. Autumn means having to give up the short sleeves while continuing to withstand the heat on public transport or on the premises.
So if you’re wondering what to wear in November, this plus size outfit for fall is easy to create for a party or to go to the pub with friends without looking too much at the dress code.
Plus size outfit for fall without outerwear
If you think it’s still too early to put on your coat, you can’t avoid covering yourself anyway. For this reason, wearing a shirt can be a good idea to avoid heavier coats. In this outfit I wore a checked shirt by Meraki. There is a great variety of check: the one I chose is percale, a checked shirt used in the 60s worn in a mod uniform hidden in jeans.
The mod style today
To continue the mod tradition I decided to use jeans too. But instead of aiming for the slim fit models (perhaps more suited to summer, given the perspiration they have) I opted for a tapered model. The find jeans of this outfit, which reach up to the 42W size, also has a darker side detail that can break the monotony of the whole outfit.
The iconic Levi’s Housemark t-shirt
In fact, to leave the outfit as informal as possible, I decided to use a white t-shirt and I could only aim for one of the trendiest graphic t-shirts at the moment, namely Levi’s Housemark. In this version the typical logo of Levi’s has a rainbow background with a striped pattern. Finally, to avoid mistakes, I chose minimal sneakers: they adapt to almost any variety of jeans.
