Promod – Tweed trousers, Tailored jacket peacock blue

Settimana scorsa, mentre il Seveso esondava, Promod ha invitato alcuni blogger (tra cui anche me) nel nuovo store di Milano per conoscere la collezione Autunno/Inverno 2014-15 dedicata all’uomo. Come vi avevo già anticipato in un post precedente, la linea maschile è nata solo l’anno scorso online, ma con questa nuova collezione è approdata anche nei negozi. Riprendendo i valori che l’azienda ha sempre applicato per la sua linea femminile, anche per la collezione uomo Promod punta ai capi essenziali, quei capi che grazie alla qualità dei materiali e al loro stile riescono a durare nel tempo.

Ho accettato quindi questa sfida cercando di immaginare un outfit che fosse adatto ad un incontro di lavoro, qualcosa di non troppo formale in grado di esprimere vivacità. I pantaloni in tweed riprendono lo stile da gentiluomo inglese con le tipiche pieghe permanenti, passanti, 4 tasche e apertura con bottoni sotto aletta. Il blazer in cotone elasticizzato e satinato aggiunge invece un tocco glamour al look grazie al suo colore blu petrolio.

Per completare il look ho scelto una camicia nera di Versace x H&M, mentre ai piedi ho utilizzato le Baxter di Dr Martens, delle stringate in pelle bianco/nera con la punta e il tallone borchiato. Come accessori ho utilizzato gli occhiali da sole Bloodsucker Round di Banggood e il porta tablet in lana (che io ho usato come clutch) sempre di Promod.

Last week, while the river Seveso flood, Promod has invited some fashion bloggers (including me) in the new store in Milan to know the Fall/Winter 2014-15 collection dedicated to men. As I already mentioned in a previous post, the menswear line was created only last year online, but with this new collection it has arrived in stores. Taking the values that the company has always applied for its womeswear line, even for the men’s collection Promod aims to essential items, those clothes that, thanks to the quality of materials and their style, can last.

I accepted this challenge trying to imagine an outfit that was suitable for a business meeting, something not too formal that can express liveliness. The tweed trousers reflect the style of the typical English gentleman with permanent, 4 pockets, beltloops, button and concealed button fly. The tailored jacket in satin sheen cotton adds a touch of glamor to the look thanks to its peacock blue color.

To complete the look I chose a black shirt by Versace x H&M, while for the foot I used Baxter by Dr Martens, the lace shoes in leather white/black with studded toe and heel. I used as accessories the Bloodsucker Round sunglasses by Banggood and wool tablet computer case (which I used as a clutch) always by Promod.
