1. Nonskaters can wear Supestar too
Superstars were very popular in the 80s, but then becomes an exclusive shoes for skaters. And Adidas never update them, letting the usual buyers of sneakers had a prejudice against them. Founded, obviously. Pharrell reset this preconception, creating a design (external and internal) that made this shoe really modern.
2. Stop with the usual colors for sneakers
The collection contains 50 shades of color. And apart from the classic colors that normally can be found for many other sneakers, there are other colors that were never designed for sneakers, especially at this price range. It is an excellent opportunity to get out of the routine of the usual colors for sneakers and try something new.
3. Not everything that glitters is plastic
Pharrell’s idea was not simply to totally color the shoe, but added a touch less street and more “luxury” using leather on the upper skin (and the rubber on the tip).
