From <a href=\"http:\/\/www.guyoverboard.com\/en\/2016\/12\/camouflage-wool-military-jacket.html\">camouflage<\/a>, many objects and clothes &#8211; predominantly for the army &#8211; entered into the everyday life of all, with a few minor changes.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" title=\"Timex Camper MK1\" src=\"http:\/\/www.guyoverboard.com\/www\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/10\/Timex-Camper-MK1_02.jpg\" alt=\"Timex Camper MK1, orologio esercito americano, us army watch\" width=\"640\" height=\"960\" \/><\/p>\n<h3>The story behind Timex Camper MK1<\/h3>\n<p>For Fall\/Winter 2017 TIMEX was inspired by its historical past introducing <strong>Camper MK1<\/strong>, an elegant reworking of <em>Mil-W-46374B<\/em>, a watch designed as part of an offer to win a US government contract.<\/p>\n<p>In February and March 1982, the United States Army needed a comfortable and functional watch. Timex thus presented his design of a watch so comfortable to be &#8220;disposable&#8221;. Used by soldiers for a short period of time (training, mission, etc.) it could be litellaty thrown away. Thanks to its clear disposal instructions and very small production times, the watch centered on its intent, with a minimum durability.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" title=\"Timex Camper MK1\" src=\"http:\/\/www.guyoverboard.com\/www\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/10\/Timex-Camper-MK1_03.jpg\" alt=\"Timex Camper MK1, orologio esercito americano, us army watch\" width=\"640\" height=\"960\" \/><\/p>\n<h3>Timex Camper MK1 today<\/h3>\n<p>Staying true to the lightweight design and the comfort of the original watch, the <strong>Timex Camper MK1<\/strong> is a &#8220;civilian&#8221; version of the watch adopted by the US Army. Part of <em>Pioneers<\/em> collection, this reissue has been made with an aluminum body: this make this adaptation one step ahead of its predecessor.<\/p>\n<p align=\"center\"><iframe style=\"width: 120px; height: 240px;\" src=\"\/\/rcm-eu.amazon-adsystem.com\/e\/cm?lt1=_blank&amp;bc1=000000&amp;IS2=1&amp;bg1=FFFFFF&amp;fc1=000000&amp;lc1=0000FF&amp;t=guyoverboard-21&amp;o=29&amp;p=8&amp;l=as4&amp;m=amazon&amp;f=ifr&amp;ref=as_ss_li_til&amp;asins=B003Y3B1U8&amp;linkId=88532435a43ac3e49d1734187c5cd942\" frameborder=\"0\" marginwidth=\"0\" marginheight=\"0\" scrolling=\"no\"><\/iframe><\/p>\n<p>Unlike the original &#8217;80s, in fact, this <a href=\"http:\/\/www.timex.com\/mk1\/TW2P88400LG.html\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">new versatile watch<\/a> remains not only lightweight, but it is built to last (and not to be thrown away!). The aluminum used is in fact usually reserved for applications in architecture. In addition, the strap in olive color, with white or black dial, makes this model very modern.<\/p>\n<p>The clock is part of <strong>Timex Archive<\/strong>, a project that combines the historical know-how of Timex with a refined search modern design aesthetics. A true expression of values that Timex had from 1854 to today for a new generation of timess watch.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" title=\"Timex Camper MK1\"
