ALTAROMA: ACCADEMIA ALTIERI

Nonostante il mio sia un blog di moda maschile, ci tengo a condividere con voi uno degli eventi di moda che si è svolto durante la settimana scorsa a Roma. Dal 7 all'11 luglio infatti la Città ha ospitato AltaRoma, una fashion week dal sapore molto particolare. Se infatti in tutto il mondo la moda italiana è ben identificata con le sfilate di alta moda, AltaRoma rappresenta invece un centro di scouting internazionale: d'altronde a Roma sono stati scoperti Valentino, Capucci, Lancetti, Sarli e tanti altri. Questa tradizione ha coinvolto anche le accademie, tra cui l'Accademia Alteri che mercoledì nella cornice del Borgo Santo Spirito ha dato a 3 stilisti emergenti l'opportunità di presentare le loro collezioni ispirate soprattutto all'urban style.


Although my blog is about men's fashion, I would like to share one of the fashion events that took place  in Rome during the last week. From 7th to 11th July the City has hosted AltaRoma, a fashion week with a very particular taste. If all over the world the Italian fashion is identified with "haute couture" shows, AltaRoma represents a center of international scouting: indeed in Rome were discovered Valentino, Capucci, Lancetti, Sarli and many others. This tradition has also involved the academies, including the Accademia Alteri. On Wednesday, in the frame of the Borgo Santo Spirito, the academy has given to 3 emerging designers the opportunity to present their collections inspired mainly to urban style.
