If you’re a children of 90s like me, summer will instantly make you think about Baywatch: we found it anytime on Italian TV! Beyond the sculptural bodies and the famous red lifebuoy, I remember that in every episode there was a character who wore the typical short-sleeved shirts, crammed with “tropical” all-over pattern. Even if they didn’t seem to me the ultimate in fashion, now that this trend has come in European clothing, California seems much closer. And thanks to the eshop Night Candy, whose headquarters is located in Los Angeles, I had the opportunity to try this “traditional” clothes personally.
The Handsome Me shirt I chose has a black background and a funny pattern of pink flamingos, with a button-down collar and a patch pocket at the chest. To stay on the typically Californian style, I decided to combine it with cutted denim shorts (that immediately screams beach) by Bershka, blacks socks with white stripes of American Apparel and the Nike Air Force 1 Hyperfuse, in an neon pink color, at feet. As accessories I chose a cap of Hoodboyz (with the visor backwards) and sunglasses with round lenses of H&M, along with a matt black pearl bracelet and some silver ring.
L.A., here i come!
