XCONCEPT is an emerging brand born in 2008 in Tuscany, for the passion and creativity of its founder Gino Bensi. Designer and creator of the brand, after a successful career in the fashion industry in Italy, Greece and Asia, he created XCONCEPT inspired by his many travels, especially in Bali, equatorial island capable of enhancing the development of a strong creative impulse. In Bali for the first time Bensi has conceived “the concept of x”, a concept of life and style that is based on travel beyond the borders, freedom without constraints and an originality different.
The clothes that Gino Bensi developed for the Fall/Winter 2014-2015 collection are dedicated to a metropolitan man fighter, elegant and evolved, who faces life into the cities around the world. The CAPE OVER I wear this outfit uses a distinctive color of the brand, the gray, understood as a transition between joy and aggression.
Each garment is not intended as a limitation, so I decided to use the cape with a more classic cotton trousers by Zara, a patterned cashmere shirt by H&M and the Letters Multicolor trainers by Adidas x Jeremy Scott. A mash-up of different inspirations. For accessories, I referred to the 90s with a burgundy beanie by H&M and the flip-up sunglasses by Giant Vintage.
