Simplicity is often a prerequisite for the achievement of a sober and balanced look. But, like everything in life, one approach will never satisfy all the circumstances and situations. And even a t-shirt with bold prints, big logos or nontraditional color may prove an exception to the rule of simplicity.
The graphic tees have become now an essential of the male wardrobe, with the possibility of hitting visually through one item. Among the key issues of this trend, one is the animals motif: including bears, wolves and dogs, the strength of these “beasts” creates a very masculine aestethic. Another is the repeated pattern, small prints mirrored and replicated across the t-shirts.
Marcelo Burlon is inspired by both trends in Pueblo tshirt that you can see in this outfit, combining animal eyes with a series of geometric graphics and words related to his land, Patagonia. With printed designs, t-shirt can be integrated with simple monochrome pieces; in particular black is the ideal companion for staying on a sober look. The rest of the outfit includes trousers with tailored cut of Zara, the lace-up brogues Uberto by Jessica Buurman and the coat with different volumes by Butterflysoulfire. As an accessory I chose an Amish hat by Ilariusss.
