Socks and sandals can sound like an unattractive combination for the winter, but it have always intrigued me. Especially since the socks have undergone a process of transformation from a simple useful object into a real design element to show in the outfit. Teva Original asked me to experiment with this eye their classic Universal sandals: borned from a Velcro watch strap combined with a flip-flop, the Teva Original sandals invite to the adventure adopting the style “strap in and go”. Because the unexpected moments are the ones that turn into memories.
Above my Universal sandals with a Peaks Rhubarb pattern (a bit hippie!), I decided to wear a soft jeans with deep cuts on the lap by One Teaspoon, a black tshirt punk-rock style of the Ramones and a long flannel shirt long-sleeved, both by H&M. For the socks, I decided to focus on a classic dark gray wool, to stand out all “colored peaks” and background “rhubarb” of the sandals.
