The tree is to be dismantled and all the leftovers from Christmas dinner were eaten. So, with a few extra pounds, it’s time to think of New Year’s outfit, aiming for an elegant solution – the most easy to wear and more fun to achieve.
A good rule may be to start from shoes, an item that normally tends to overlook. Instead of pointing to the usual classic black brogues shoes, you can go with the imagination using different materials and colors. In my outfit, for example, I decided to wear the OXS slip-on, with white rubber sole and toe and black upper with small studs.
At this point, you can enter to the pure formal style, using the clothes that should not be missing in your wardrobe like a blazer and black pants, and a white shirt. This is the kind of pieces that can be combined with anything, for every occasion. They are classic, simple and versatile – everything you want from clothes. In this outfit I chose a black blazer of H&M with a black pants by Zara and the shirt is of Bianco Camicia, perfect for a look in this style.
A final touch can be a bag. You must be care to avoid something too sporty. A bad bag can easily ruin a simple look like a bad pair of shoes! Your best bet is leather, such as handicraft lunch bag I wore this outfit. And at last you have to show a little bit of your personality through a special accessory: for example, I’ve chosen the transparent PVC bow tie of Printie.
