Denim is a material grounded in menswear. Its versatility helped its rise and the shirts have added a new dimension to the casual concept. A denim shirt can be considered a true workhorse of any wardrobe of a man. When used as stratification, denim shirts give a modern twist, not only by intensifying the casual look, but making your own outfits smarter.
Victor Cool is a brand that attracts the influence of real life. The brand is inspired by contemporary design by sportswear. For Spring/Summer 2015, the brand has channeled its love for the outdoors enjoying the urban aesthetic of large cities in California in an active, intelligent and lively collection. The collection was created with the idea of being versatile with items easily combined with each other. The colors of this season are earthy, relying on green forests, blue and gray, but also with aestethic variations that remembers tropical landscapes.
In this outfit I used the denim shirt by Victor Cool, a lightweight version with micro-pattern, pearl buttons and washing used. I decided to wear it open on a light pink t-shirt by mirror. To keep the look simple, practical and with a touch of fancy, I decided to use the striped trousers in cotton jacquard by Clap Your Hand and the dark-blue derby shoes by Otisopse.
This look shows how a denim shirt can be worn all year, even in a summer ensemble.
