The history of the brand Promod is a true “family” story. Born in 1975 from Pollet family’s shop in the north of France, arrived in Italy in 1991, in Curno. Then it was able to expand up to 1,000 stores in the world, not only physical, but also virtual: in 1999 born to the first French e-commerce French, and in 2011 opened the Italian one. And it is on the online shop that Promod in 2013 decided to launch its first men’s collection, testing the waters of a brand well known for its women’s line.
Due to the great response, Promod has continued his production with the new Men’s Collection Fall / Winter 2014-15. Taking the values that the company has always applied to his female collection, even for the men’s collection Promod focuses on the quality of materials and shapes, on the mix of essential and trendy items and on colors and prints, that are in DNA of the brand, especially for the finishes and details. The inspirations for this collection refers to the phenomenon of “camping”, with its typical large squares and the use of flannel; the world of mechanical engineering, as for denim work uniform; the “Lord” style, with the typical plots in beige tartan; the painter Hokusai, based on his color palette in shades of blue; and winter tourism, with the sweaters and big neck.
